Driven by an endless curiosity for Algeria and a desire to reveal its untold beauty, Abdennour Mazoz spent years exploring the country far beyond its famous landmarks. During the global pandemic, while much of the world stood still, he embarked on an extraordinary expedition—traveling more than 40,000 kilometers across Algeria in just six months.
From the Mediterranean coast to the remote Sahara, he met local communities, discovered forgotten places, built lifelong friendships, and created a nationwide network that would later become the Algeria Travel Alliance.
