Lunch is not included. A lunch break is planned at the restaurant of Hotel Trajan, located right at the entrance of the Timgad ruins. The restaurant offers a variety of traditional Algerian and Mediterranean dishes, allowing travelers to choose freely according to their preferences.

Is it possible to add the Ghoufi Balconies visit?

Yes. The Ghoufi Balconies extension can be added upon request. This optional detour adds about 2 extra hours to the day and includes a scenic canyon walk and photo stops.

Wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes suitable for uneven terrain and archaeological sites. A hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen are recommended, especially between April and September. During winter months (November to February), bring a light jacket as temperatures can drop in the Aurès region.
