Itineraries
Day 1
Arrival into the White City

Your journey begins as you touch down in Algiers, the legendary "Alger la Blanche" cascading down its hillside to the sea. You are met not with the bustle of a standard arrival, but with the seamless, quiet efficiency of our representative. A private transfer whisks you to your elegant hotel, where the scent of jasmine and sea air offers a first taste of Mediterranean Algeria. The evening is yours to settle in and anticipate the discoveries to come.
Day 2
Algiers - The White City's Living Layers

With your expert local guide, Ms. Abir, unravel the soul of the capital. Begin at the Casbah of Algiers, a UNESCO World Heritage site where Ottoman palaces and hidden mosques whisper tales of pirates and poets. Feel the history underfoot in its steep, narrow alleys. Ascend to the Notre Dame d’Afrique, where the panoramic vista of the bay unfolds, and witness the serene beauty of this basilica overlooking the sea. Find tranquility in the lush Hamma Garden, a botanical jewel, before paying respects at the iconic Martyr Memorial, standing sentinel over the city. Conclude at the Great Mosque, a masterpiece of Almoravid architecture, where Ms. Abir’s insights reveal centuries of spiritual and artistic heritage.
Day 3
Béjaïa - The Emerald Crown of Kabylia

Guided by Maher, a native son of this coastal gem, discover Béjaïa’s dramatic beauty. Stand atop Cap Carbon, where the lighthouse marks one of the Mediterranean’s most breathtaking headlands. Hike through the fragrant maquis to Monkey Peak for unparalleled views, and feel the presence of Lala Gouraya, the sacred mountain watching over the city. Explore the historic Casbah of Béjaïa, its walls echoing with Phoenician, Roman, and Spanish history. The day culminates at the enchanting Kefrida Cascades, where the cool mist and emerald pools offer a refreshing escape, and Maher shares local legends known only to a few.
Day 4
Djemila’s Glory & Evening in Constantine

At the UNESCO World Heritage site of Djemila, Salim, an archaeologist at heart, guides you through the museum, where mosaics and statues hint at the splendors to come. Then, step into the ancient city itself—a stunningly preserved Roman settlement nestled in the mountains. With Salim, the forum, temples, and theaters come alive with stories of daily life, commerce, and imperial grandeur. As the afternoon light deepens, journey to Constantine, the City of Bridges, where you’ll settle in for the evening, anticipation building for tomorrow’s explorations.
Day 5
Constantine - The City of Bridges
Ilies, a storyteller passionate about his city, leads you through Constantine’s gravity-defying landscape. Marvel at the bridges—like the Sidi M’Cid—that stitch the city together across the deep Rhumel Gorge. Explore the opulent Ahmed Bey Palace, a masterpiece of Ottoman artistry, and wander the labyrinthine Casbah of Constantine. At the Cirta Museum, Ilies decipheres the region’s rich history through its prized antiquities. The day culminates at the serene El Emir Mosque, where the blend of architectural styles mirrors the city’s layered past.
Day 6
Timgad’s Perfection & The Balconies of Ghoufi

Toufik, a guardian of history, welcomes you to Timgad, the “Pompeii of Africa.” Begin in the museum to understand the scale of the city, then walk the incredibly preserved grid streets of the Roman colony, from the grand Arch of Trajan to the sprawling theater. Toufik’s expertise illuminates the genius of Roman urban planning. In the afternoon, journey to the Ghoufi Balconies, where ancient Berber villages cling to the edge of a majestic canyon—a striking contrast of human resilience against nature’s grandeur.
Day 7
Return to Algiers - A Day of Reflection

After a rich immersion in Algeria's interior, we return to the coast. The day's journey south is a chance to reflect on the profound historical narratives you've witnessed. Upon arrival in Algiers, the rest of the day is yours at leisure—perhaps to revisit a favorite spot, enjoy a spa treatment, or simply relax by the sea, processing the incredible sights and stories.
Day 8
The Finale - Tipasa & Cherchell

Our historical exploration culminates on the coast west of Algiers. At Tipasa, another UNESCO site, you'll find a unique blend of history and beauty: extensive Roman ruins—a theater, basilicas, and villas—scattered directly alongside the sparkling Mediterranean Sea. The sound of waves is your constant companion. We then continue to Cherchell to explore its museum, home to an exceptional collection of Roman and Greek antiquities that provide a fitting epilogue to our journey through time.
Day 9
Departure with a New Perspective
After a final Algerian breakfast, perhaps enjoying one last coffee with a view of the sea, a private transfer awaits to take you to Algiers International Airport for your departure.
