Job Title: Agency Manager (Chef d’Agence)

Job Summary

The Agency Manager (Chef d’Agence) is responsible for leading all daily operations of Oryx Voyage.
This key role ensures that the agency runs smoothly, clients receive exceptional service, staff members are supported, and all departments work efficiently together.
The manager must demonstrate leadership, organization, and a strong understanding of the travel industry.

Key Responsibilities

 1. Team Management

  • Supervise and support the team (consultants, reservations, admin, guides).

  • Plan work schedules and assign tasks to team members.

  • Organize regular meetings to review performance and resolve issues.

  • Train new employees and ensure continuous professional development.

2. Customer Service & Client Relations

  • Handle complex or VIP client requests.
  • Ensure every client receives professional, high-quality service.
  • Resolve complaints quickly and effectively.
  • Maintain strong relationships with partners, hotels, and suppliers.

3. Operations Management

  • Oversee daily agency operations (bookings, itineraries, tours).

  • Ensure accuracy in reservations, payments, and documentation.

  • Coordinate with guides, drivers, and partners to guarantee smooth tours.

  • Follow procedures and enforce operational standards.

4. Sales & Business Development

  • Monitor sales performance and support the team in meeting targets.
  • Identify opportunities to develop new products and travel packages.
  • Maintain relationships with international partners and expand cooperation.

5. Administrative & Financial Control

  • Review invoices, payments, and supplier accounts.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports.

  • Assist in budget preparation and operational planning.

  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and insurance requirements.

6. Quality Control & Brand Standards

  • Ensure that Oryx Voyage’s hospitality philosophy is respected.
  • Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements.
  • Guarantee the quality and professionalism of every service delivered.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Professional Skills

  • Minimum 3–5 years experience in tourism, hospitality, or agency management.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of reservation systems and travel operations.
  • Ability to lead a team and make strong decisions.

Languages

  • French: Required

  • English: Required

  • Arabic: Required
    Additional languages are a plus (Italian, Spanish, German, etc.).
